Every GTA 6 Vehicle Rockstar Has Named

Four. That is the entire confirmed list, and every one of them comes from the small print of an edition rather than from the game itself.

Last checked: September 11, 2026 Status: Pre-release

The confirmed four

All four appear in Rockstar's own pre-order and edition materials, which is why they are the only vehicles that can be stated as fact.

Vehicles named by Rockstar in official materials, as of 11 September 2026.

What the names tell you

Vapid, Grotti and Shitzu are long-running fictional manufacturers in the Grand Theft Auto series — Vapid standing in for American mass-market brands, Grotti for Italian exotics, Shitzu for Japanese marine and motorcycle manufacturing. Their reappearance confirms Rockstar is keeping its established manufacturer universe rather than rebuilding it.

The model years are the more interesting detail: 1955, 1967 and 1995. Combined with the Ultimate Edition's classic car restoration missions and two named customisation shops — Rideout Customs and One-Eyed Willie's — that points at restoration and modification being a supported activity rather than an afterthought. Rockstar has not described how any of it works.

Why every big GTA 6 car list is not what it claims

You will find lists of dozens or hundreds of GTA VI vehicles. None of them are official. They are assembled from three sources: vehicles glimpsed in trailers and identified by fans from their shapes, vehicles named in the 2022 leak, and vehicles carried over from GTA V on the assumption they will return.

The second of those is the problem. The 2022 leak showed a development build, and a vehicle present in a build years before release is not a vehicle in the shipped game. Rockstar cuts content, as every studio does.

The third is not evidence at all. It is a list of GTA V cars with a different heading.

What is not known

    No Rockstar statement
  • No word

Whether aircraft are in the game, and which kinds.

    No Rockstar statement
  • No word

How customisation works, beyond the two shop names.

    No Rockstar statement
  • No word

  • Confirmed

There is a phone app for checking a vehicle's value, lock status, alarm and tracker before you take it.

    An Extended Look, August 2026

That last one is worth more than it looks. An app that tells you whether a car has a tracker only matters in a game where stealing the wrong car has consequences — which fits the witness-based wanted system Rockstar showed alongside it.
