Editorial Policy

The rules this site runs on, written down so you can hold it to them.

1. Labelling

Every factual claim on this site carries one of three states:

What each label means.
LabelMeans
ConfirmedStated by Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive, or published on an official storefront listing. Source linked.
UnconfirmedReported or claimed by somebody else. The page names who, and says what weight that carries.
No wordRockstar has never addressed it. Explicitly not a denial.

Statements made by named Rockstar developers in interviews the studio granted are treated as confirmed, and attributed to the person who said them.

2. Sources

Primary sources first: Rockstar's newswire and official site, Take-Two's investor communications and press releases, and official storefront listings. Where a fact reaches us through journalism rather than directly, the outlet is named and linked.

Where a widely circulated claim traces back to a leak or to fan calculation, the page says so. That is frequently the most useful sentence on the page.

3. Leaks

Leaks are reported as events: what happened, who is alleged to be involved, what the legal position is. Leaked material itself is not hosted, embedded, linked to, or described in enough detail to function as a substitute for the original.

This is partly legal caution and mostly editorial. A site that prints leaked feature lists next to confirmed facts has destroyed the distinction it exists to maintain. The full reasoning is here.

4. No invented figures

If Rockstar has not published a number, this site does not have one. That covers map size in square miles, install size, frame rates, system requirements, PC release dates and pre-order totals. Where everyone else quotes a figure and we do not, the missing figure is the point.

5. Dates

Every page shows when it was last checked. News entries show when they were published and are not silently rewritten afterwards.

6. Corrections

Errors are corrected on the page, in the open, with a note explaining what changed. Nothing is quietly deleted. Report an error here.

7. Advertising and independence

This site is funded by display advertising served through Google AdSense. It carries no affiliate links, accepts no sponsored content, and sells no placements. No advertiser has any input into what is published, and no page on this site earns a commission on anything it mentions.

Advertising is separated from editorial content and labelled by the ad platform. If you ever cannot tell whether something here is an advertisement, that is a failure on our part — tell us.

8. AI and how this site is written

Research and drafting here make use of AI tools. Every factual claim is checked against the primary source before publication, and every source on every page has been opened and read rather than trusted from a search result. The editorial judgement, the labelling and the responsibility are human and mine.

Saying this plainly seems better than the alternative, given that a substantial share of what circulates about this game is AI-generated material presented as something else.

9. Trademarks

This is an independent fan site with no connection to Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. Game names, character names and related marks are used descriptively, to write about the game. Full disclaimer.
