Short version: this site stores almost nothing itself, loads nothing from third parties until you ask it to, and shows advertising that does use cookies.

What this site collects directly
Nothing that identifies you. There are no accounts, no newsletter, no comment system and no contact form. There is no analytics package on this site.
The hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for security and operational purposes. That is a function of hosting rather than something this site does with your data.
Advertising
This site displays advertising through Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, to measure them, and in some cases to personalise them based on your browsing.

- If you are in the European Economic Area, the UK or Switzerland, you will be asked for consent before personalised advertising is served.
Embedded videos
Pages on this site embed official Rockstar Games videos hosted on YouTube. These are handled deliberately:
- Nothing from YouTube loads until you click a video. Before that, all you are loading is a thumbnail image from YouTube's image host, which does not set cookies.
- When you do click, the player loads from
youtube-nocookie.com, YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain. - At that point YouTube and Google receive data about the playback, governed by Google's privacy policy, not by this one.
Storage in your browser
This site uses your browser's local storage for exactly one thing: remembering whether you have dismissed the cookie notice, so it does not reappear on every page. That value stays in your browser, is never transmitted anywhere, and is removed if you clear your site data.
Links to other sites
Pages here link out to primary sources — Rockstar's newswire, Take-Two's investor pages, news outlets and court reporting. Those sites have their own privacy policies and this one does not cover them.
Your rights
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection in relation to personal data held about you. Since this site holds no personal data about you directly, most such requests concern Google as the advertising provider, and are best directed to Google. Children
This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect any information from them.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
