GTA VI Takes the Game Informer Cover: What Is Coming on 29 September
Game Informer has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI fronts its next issue. It is the first big print feature since the gameplay reveal, and it lands on Tuesday.
What has been confirmed
- Issue 382, on sale Tuesday 29 September 2026, in the US and in more than 50 other countries.
- A 14-page cover story with exclusive interviews with Rockstar.
- About a dozen new screenshots and cover art of Jason and Lucia.
What it says it will cover
- Weather. An “advanced” weather system simulating Florida's less sunny side — storms rather than postcards.
- Wildlife. What Game Informer calls “the staggering amount of wildlife” in Leonida.
- Research. How Rockstar studied Miami and Florida to build Vice City and Leonida. Our Leonida vs Florida page is where that will be added.
What we will do with it
On Tuesday we will read the feature and add anything new to What We Know, labelled as confirmed where it comes from Rockstar in the interviews. We will not reproduce the screenshots or the article; we will link to Game Informer.
An earlier Game Informer cover this year was wrongly assumed to be GTA VI; it was not. This one is confirmed by Game Informer itself.
